Stanford Hospital

It started as a simple vision: To blend the most advanced medical technologies with a human-centered approach to patient care.

This fall, that decade-long vision becomes a reality as Stanford Health Care opens its new 824,000 square foot hospital, doubling its capacity and modernizing its ability to care and cure.

Every detail of the hospital has been meticulously planned to create an atmosphere that promotes healing. Designed by internationally-recognized architect Rafael Vinoly in association with Perkins Eastman, Stanford Hospital is engineered to deliver the technological advancements in medicine available today with the ability to accommodate medical discoveries still to come.

Stanford Hospital blends a human-centered approach to patient care with a razor-sharp focus on integrating technological advancements into every aspect of medical care delivery. Four acres of gardens, over 300 pieces of original art and sweeping views share the spotlight with state-of-the-art interventional operating and imaging suites, digitally driven patient rooms and access to a premier team of specialists from across Stanford Medicine. Welcome to a new era of health care.
